Welcome to Karma Lodge, Leh – Ladakh, 

My name is Tsewang Dorje, the owner of Karma Lodge. In 2021, I thoughtfully transformed my 40-year-old family home—originally built by my father—into a warm and cozy lodge, offering comfortable rooms and a dormitory for travelers.

Karma Lodge is constructed in the traditional Ladakhi architectural style, using stone and sun-dried mud bricks. While the exterior has been reinforced with modern cement plaster for durability, the essence and soul of the house remains deeply authentic.

Conveniently located in the heart of Leh town, the capital of Ladakh, Karma Lodge offers comfortable and affordable accommodation. It is an ideal choice for couples, families, solo travelers, and groups seeking a peaceful, authentic, and memorable Ladakh experience.

All our rooms are thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring king-size beds (approximately 6.5 ft in length and 3 ft in width). Each room includes an attached bathroom with 24-hour hot and cold water supply. Hot water is provided through eco-friendly solar panels installed on the rooftop.

We maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Freshly laundered bed linens, pillow covers, and towels are provided for every guest, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay.

Our rooftop lounge and restaurant offer a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, providing a serene space to relax, unwind, and enjoy your time in Ladakh.
